Ostara Tarot Spread Video

The Purpose of this card divination spread This spread takes a closer look at the yearly Ostara Celebration or Spring Equinox, in order to obtain insight into both the quality and tasks of the upcoming time. The cards drawn in this spread are valid through May 1.

When doing this spread, you will need at least four different Tarot or Oracle decks. The reason for this is because you have the BASE, GENERAL, COMPANION, MASTER, and JOKER.

Base Cards, The Elemental Power - Use decks with the four elements (Air, Water, Fire, Earth). Use the Minor Arcana Only.

General Cards, The Foundation - Use any Tarot Deck of your choice.

Companion Cards - Any decks that you feel supported or strengthened, i.e. Goddess Cards or Fairy Oracle, etc.

Master Cards, The Apprenticeship - Higher Messages. Example, the Major Arcana, or Astrology Cards.

Joker Cards, The Surprise - Examples would be Bach Flower Cards, Healing Cards, or Color Cards. You could also use Karma Cards if you want.

The Decks I used were the Universal Waite, Guilded Tarot, Goddess Guidance Oracle, and the Wisdom Well. This was just for demonstration purposes only.

In the New Moon phase we are primarily concerned with sowing seeds for the future. This deck is very well suited for personal meditation and visualization. As the reviewer suggested, this deck may be better employed for personal reflection/readings instead of readings for the general public.

Depending on the deck, the artist, and the author, the Sword and the Wands can change or swap their elements. The Cups and Pentacles tend to remain fixed or true to their original elements. Great tips, Silver. My only point of concern is your point about not having more than one deck open in the presence of (an)other deck/s. I do a lot of comparison readings where I have more than one deck going at a given time. Sometimes as many as 3 or 4 so that I can compare the different images. Also, I have been at workshops where the whole group had their cards out. Thus far, I haven't had any negative energy or "piggy-back" boomerangs because of it. Of course, to be safe, I suppose we could do a deck cleanse after exposing our decks to others. But I would leave that the the individual to decide.

Blessing cards:
I just put my left hand over it the cards and pray for them to bring protection, guidance and light to all that seek advice. You can also incorporate the elements in your blessing ritual.
Bless the cards with Fire=The heat of the candle
Water=Sprinkle a bit of water on the cards
Air= Incense of your choice. i.e., My favorite is Sage or Frankincense and Myrhh
Earth= Salt or Quartz over them.

I reading my cards incorporating my intuition, sometimes I can see a specific timeframe very clear in the readings. I use astrology signs, Numerology and Symbology along with the colors.

Update= I will be trying to do readings as I can since I am also studying for LSAT.
I will try to focus on one card per week for tutorials.

In divination the Knight of Disks often represents a person having influence over your financial situation, like your boss or your bank manager. At his deepest level this Knight is about material and physical resources, and how we handle them. He has a lot to teach us about good management and attention to detail.

So on a day which he rules, spend a little time going over your finances, and your overall material position. Look at all the stuff you've had in that box at the back of the cupboard for all this time. Go through your insurance policies, and other important financial documents.
At the very least, you'll know where they all are next time you need them. You could also discover a shortfall or something you've overlooked. And, at best, you could stumble across something important and rewarding.

You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

Perhaps it was Providence, or the Universe that led me to draw the Magus/Magician as the first CAD I have done for nearly a year? Whatever forces were at work, it fits perfectly. I have been juggling a lot lately...work, family & friends, new ideas, old habits. You get the idea.

The Thoth deck is my prefered choice for self-study work; when I read for others, I often use the Rider or Morgan deck(s) but when it comes down to my being able to relate to a card through its imagry, nothing compares to the Crowley/Harris collaboration.

I am not a student of the O.D.O or any other Mystery School. But the connection I get with the symbols and archetypes and nuances of this particular deck almost make me wish I were.

One of the things that struck me most deeply about this card as we journeyed through today was that the figure bears a striking resemblance to the crucified Christ! In fact the symbology of Hermes' caduceus and Jesus' words: John 3:14,15 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, 15: that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. ... were more than appearant albeit, hidden in plain sight until now. Then, again, there is the Emerald Tablet edict of As above, so Below; how this made itself obvious to me came again through the recorded words of Christ: on earth as it is in heaven... Consider me a dolt but I never picked up that correspondence before today.

So how did I manifest the Magus today? I purchased a new Tarot journal in which to write down my observations.
